VIRGIN COCONUT OIL – CENTRIFUGED

Hacienda Macalauan’s Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) produced via centrifuge is a premium oil, produced directly from the coconut milk. Without any fermentation (a traditional method that causes a rancid after-taste), coconut milk is subjected to centrifugal force to separate the oil from the coconut skim milk. Once the oil is separated, this is subjected to a vacuum-dryer to ensure a low moisture content.

The resulting product is a lightly fragrant and fresh virgin coconut oil. The coconut taste is milder when compared to expeller-pressed oil.

This premium oil is suitable for cooking, hair and body care, and for use as a health supplement.

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL – EXPELLER-PRESSED

This Virgin Coconut Oil is produced by pressing the dried coconut meat in order to extract the oil. The oil then goes through a series of filtrations before packing. It has a light coconut scent and is clear when liquid, and white when solid.

Expeller-Pressed VCO is can be used for cooking, baking, frying, and a variety of household applications.
