LOW FAT COCONUT FLOUR

Coconut flour is produced by pulverizing dried coconut meat. Although similar to wheat flour, this product absorbs a lot of water. Coconut flour has a good amount of dietary fiber and is low in fat due to reduced oil content. Around 10% can easily be substituted in wheat flour without affecting the baking qualities but rather adding nutritional properties.
